The Higher Education (HE) sector, age range 18+ consists of 115 Universities and 165 institutions that have Higher Education courses. Institutions operate under a national framework lead by one of the Regional University Consortia, The London Universities Purchasing Consortium (LUPC). The other consortia that make up this framework are: The Advanced Procurement for Universities and Colleges (APUC). The APUC is responsible for Scottish Universities)), The English National Purchasing Consortium (ENPC), The Higher Education Purchasing Consortium Wales (HEPCW), The North East University Purchasing Consortium (NEUPC),The North East & Yorkshire Academic Libraries Purchasing Consortium (NEYAL) and The Southern Universities Purchasing Consortium (SUPC). In addition to these Regional consortia with access to the National Framework but operating as separate contract is The North West University Purchasing Consortium which has its own Framework agreement for 28 Universities and HE institutions. QC Supplies hold approx 47% of the spend on the NWUPC as one of the three approved suppliers of EOS, which equates to approximately £1.5million per annum.
